I’m a native born Coloradan. Being raised in this state I was very fortunate to have parents that loved the outdoors & nature. Most summers found us camping & exploring in the mountains.
As long as I can remember I’ve been interested in photography & have been inspired by the views that I was fortunate enough to see in person or the fantastic images captured by photographers like Ansel Adams, John Fielder, Thomas Mangelson & Galen Rowell just to mention a few.
I’m still working & learning this craft. It seems that almost constantly I’m finding out new ways to create images & edit work to give it a bit more of the emotion I felt as I stood behind the camera. I’ve still a long way to go to get close to any of the greats, but I’m working on it.
I currently live in the San Luis Valley, sandwiched between two magnificent mountain ranges. This has given me ample time to explore the beauty that nature has to offer.
